History of Updates

A rough and ready history of the updates to the Revelle Family Genealogy pages.

December 2000: Added a 5 generation clickable table to give a rapid visual overview of the most recent generations. Starting looking at some of the Scripps relatives, particularly on the Messinger side. Found a reference to the Thorndikes. Stafford -- Morgan Hewitt Stafford, Descendants of John Thorndike of Essex County, Massachusetts [1960]
Fall, 2000: Added some very helpful information from James Revell.
January, 2000: Added information from the genweb census project as well as information from Becky Miller about the graveyards of David Revelle and George Revelle. More information from Becky about Randall's will with respect to David. Have received a lot of information from Larry Stackhouse about the Dougans. Have not yet added it to that page.

August, 1999: Moved the entire Revelle-Scripps-Clark-Dougan pages over to http://revelle.net/revelle/revellehistory.html. Improved the Dougan page.

Added a search engine capability using Thunderstone.

July, 1999: Reorganized the structure a little bit to improve the readibility for people who don't want all the details about the source material. Added a link to the Scarborough pages of Ralph Tabor Williams.
April 3, 1999: Tried to rationalize the file structure using Page Mill. This will lead to various broken links for people coming in from outside. Also tried to make the file names more consistent. (i.e. html, gif, jpeg suffixes when appropriate).
March, 1999: moved the primary files over to revelle.net/revelle/revellehistory/ ... All new corrections are going here, will occasionally copy over to the pmc.psych.northwestern.edu directory.
December, 1998: Added some more information to the Scripps/Clark/Rebecca Nurse pages. Particularly about the Shakers in Ohio.
1998: Started the Rebecca Nurse to Rex Clark page with various links to the witchcraft trials of Salem.
August, 1997: Adapted David James Revelle's list of SSNs of Revelle Deaths to put into alphabetical order.
Jan-March, 1997: Added in map links for some of the various Revelle histories.
